This global healthcare manufacturer specialises in orthopaedics, spinal care, sports medicine, and neurosciences. Drying and curing are critical stages in their production process, requiring strict control of temperature, humidity, and air quality. High volumes of traffic through the drying room made it challenging to maintain stable conditions and prevent external air and contaminants from entering the space.
Following a detailed site analysis and consultation with the client, we recommended installing two Durashield Air Barriers above the high-traffic doors to maintain environmental separation and prevent outside air and contaminants from entering the drying room. To support consistent internal conditions, we also specified two HVLS fans to circulate and evenly distribute air throughout the space.
This combined approach stabilises temperature and humidity and supports a cleaner working environment, ensuring consistent drying conditions across the room.
The client has reported noticeably improved environmental stability within the drying room:
